Dave Guzy

Dave is a 1971 graduate of Lakeland High School and attended Waterbury State Technical College in Connecticut.

He worked for five years at Graphic Sciences as an Electronic Technician. 

He began working for Lorlin® Industries in 1976 as a Service Engineer.  He eventually became Eastern Regional Field Service Manager and Manager of Educational Services for Lorlin® Industries, then a subsidiary of Eaton Corporation.  He left Lorlin® in 1982.

From January 1983 to January 1990, Dave was the Customer Service Manager for Tesec®, Inc managing the East and West Coast offices.  He also worked with the manufacturing area to oversee and assure quality in the assembly and checkout areas. 

From January 1990 until present, Dave has worked extensively as an independent Service Engineer with both Lorlin® and Tesec® Test Systems. He has been responsible for customer service, technical support and engineering for companies that used Discrete Test Systems.  He has also helped in the development of upgrading software from DEC to PC.

In addition, from 2001 to 2006, Dave’s and Cherrylynn’s company, Memco, was involved in contract manufacturing of circuit boards and cables, with the primary manufacturing being for the government.  Memco employed up to 15 people, and completed many government jobs.

Dave tries to maintain an excellent rapport with all customers with which he has contact.  He is respected because of his extensive knowledge with Discrete Test Equipment. He has always tried to be fair in his dealings with customers, and takes pride in keeping the customers satisfied.

Dave is also very quality conscious.  He feels that a product or service is only as good as its quality.  Overall, he has worked 40 years in the discrete semiconductor business.
